Our options
Half day
During a half day outing you will be about 5 miles from shore so you can expect to see pelicans, cormorants, frigate birds, brown boobies, terns and gulls. You might also get a glimpse of the storm petrels and other birds if you’re lucky to catch the reef during an active fishing day !
3/4 day
On the 3/4 day trip you will have time to venture out and have the chance to see deeper water birds like the shearwaters, sabine gulls, white boobies, terns, jaegers and more ! This trip is a good in between as you will see both the close to shore birds and the offshore ones.
Full day
During a full day of birdwatching you will have the most chance at seeing various species. You can start close to shore and see the cormorants, pelicans, oyster catchers, frigates then move on to Catalinas island and attempt to see the nesting tropic birds and finally make your way further offshore to have a chance at finding the jaegers, shearwaters, terns, boobies and phalaropes.
